A rare variety of a popular, easy-care houseplant.

Philodendron are one of the most popular houseplants for a reason we can get behind: they're very low maintenance and easy to grow.

They thrive in a variety of lighting conditions and aren't too particular about their watering schedule, as long as you allow the soil to dry out a little between waterings.

This 'Birkin' variety is the result of a mutated Philodendron Congo Red so it doesn't exist in the wild. When it first appeared, it was highly coveted in the plant community and got its name from the famous Hermes handbag.

Also known as Philodendron White Wave or Birkin White Wave.

Difficulty Beginner: very easy to care for and grow.

Maintenance Low: 1-2 hours of care per month.

Water Water throughly when the top 2-3" of soil is dry and allow to drain. Leaves will curl when particularly thirsty. Very forgiving if you forget to water.
