Phil the Philodendron 'Congo Red', XL

A rare variety of a popular, easy-care houseplant.

Philodendron are one of the most popular houseplants for a reason we can get behind: they're very low maintenance and easy to grow.

They thrive in a variety of lighting conditions and aren't too particular about their watering schedule, as long as you allow the soil to dry out a little between waterings.

This 'Congo Red" variety is a hard to find and sought after variety that produces bright red leaves that turn dark red and green as they mature.

Care

Difficulty Beginner: very easy to care for and grow.

Maintenance Low: 1-2 hours of care per month.

Water Water throughly when the top 2-3" of soil is dry and allow to drain. Leaves will curl when particularly thirsty. Very forgiving if you forget to water.

Light

Other Occasionally cleaning this plant's leaves and boosting humidity will help it grow fastest and look its best.
