Soil Additive | Prevents Root Rot

Aeration stones promote healthy root growth by creating air pockets in the soil and absorbing excess water in the basin of your planter. These porous clay stones are a natural, efficient and invaluable material to set your plant up for success.

How should I use Aeration Stones?

  • Increase aeration and prevent root rot by adding Leca Aeration Stones to your the base of pots with or without a drainage hole to 
  • Give your soil extra structure nd help it stay light and airy by mixing Leca Aeration Stones with your potting soil.
  • Grow your thick-rooted plants (Monstera, Pothos, etc.) directly in Leca Aeration Stones as a soilless growing medium.

What size do I need?

  • Small stones are ideal for 4"- 8" planters, and their increased density allows for extra water absorption ensuring younger plants don't dry out.
  • Medium stones are versatile and can be used in any planter.

Monstera packed for travel

Kanso pots are fabulous!

I actually got the Kanso pots as a substitution for the pots I ordered (that subsequently were out of stock), and it was a very happy occurrence. The Kanso pots are good looking and fit perfectly with the feel of our bathroom where they are now home to our new plants and also our bedroom where they now are home to our repotted pothos and its propagated offspring. A real win! I am so happy with these pots and highly recommend them. Thank you, Frondly staff, for the substitution recommendation.
