Pet Friendly | Infrequent Watering | Pest & Disease Resistant

One of the many impersonators of the plant world, Amigo is not a palm at all but a succulent. It's native to the deserts of Southern Mexico and is a member of the Agave plant family which is well known for its syrup and as the main ingredient in tequila!

The Ponytail Palm is not a big drinker though and won't mind if you forget about it for weeks at a time. It stores water in its bulb-like trunks, making it very drought-tolerant and an excellent choice for forgetful waterers or frequent travellers. Salud to that!
