Add a touch of whimsy to your space with this Maidenhair Fern 'Kokedama'. Literally meaning 'moss ball', Kokedama is a Japanese technique where the roots of a plant are covered in moss. This results in a unique plant display without the need for a pot.

Handmade at our shop, Kokedama are also simple to care for—keep it in a bright location near a window and give it a thorough soak when the moss ball feels lightweight and dry. It also makes a great gift for a plant lover who'll enjoy a playful twist on greenery.

Why choose Frondly?

  • Not your average plants

We spent years visiting growers in British Columbia to find the best plants, and our team makes weekly visits to hand select new products. If anything doesn't meet our standards, it doesn't make it into our store.

  • See the plant you'll get

We take photos of each new batch of plants at our in-house studio to ensure that the plant you receive is nearly identical to the one you see online. Don't agree? We'll pick it up and provide a full refund, no questions asked.

  • Living room ready

Before your plant is delivered, we carefully clean and prune them so they are ready to be displayed in your home. Cleaner leaves also absorb more sunlight, key for optimal plant health. Pretty and healthy is a win-win!

Love this little plant shop

I came across their online store by chance while I was looking for a bonsai tree last year and I’ve been a repeat customer since. They have a nicely curated collection of plants, planters, and plant tools. Their promotional emails are actually useful and not too frequent - I bought Franca handmade planter in blue with ZZ plant because I loved the look of them together on their email newsletter and they look amazing in my home. Most recently, I dropped by their shop to pick up monstera thai constellation and olive tree bought on sale.
They seem to have good sales regularly. Their shop was little but cute and the staff was friendly and provided good advice on plant care. This is my current favorite local plant shop!
