Easy Care Vine | Fun to Grow | Air Purifier
Commonly found hitching a ride up the sides of large tree trunks in the rainforests of Central and South America, this low maintenance cousin of the Monstera Deliciosa is beloved for similar reasons to its famous relative: the fenestrations, or holes, in its leaves.
Rafiki is a vine that likes to climb and its name means 'friend' in Swahili, the perfect nickname for such an easy-going plant. It only requires moderate light and periodic watering to survive, but give it more ideal conditions, and it'll grow like... well, like a vine!
Also known as: Monkey Mask, Swiss Cheese Vine, Five Holes Plant.
Care
Difficulty: Easy - relatively low maintenance.
Water Likes to dry out to about 75% before it is watered again. Never allow it plant to sit in water or soggy soil.
Light Grows best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate low light as well. Prefers not to be in direct sun.
